  • 26th June 2019

Here are some of the hot trends for Spring/Summer 2019 to get you inspired this season.

1. Bold Bright Colours

Bright bold colours are a summer staple and 2019 is no exception. Spring/Summer collections from the likes of Marc Jacobs, Carolina Herrera and Calvin Klein have presented us with tangerine oranges, highlighter greens and electric yellows, showing a drastic shift from the pastels of last season. How can BIDBI help you recreate your vivid spring/summer looks?

Our range of coloured cotton tote bags has a broad spectrum of bright colours. Electric orange, peacock and daffodil will brighten up your collection, and make your designs stand out.

2. “shell colours”

Pantone’s colour of the year 2019 is 16-1546- Living Coral and following that shells and shell colours are in! From interior design to the catwalk people are loving the delicate creams, light pinks, tans and of course coral. BIDBI’s coloured cotton tote bag comes in muted tones such as pastel pink, sand and coral. All of our Fairtrade and Organic bags come in a gorgeous natural canvas where your shell coloured designs can come to life.

3. Geometric

Geometric prints are here to stay. Especially in the interior design world, geometric prints are taking over, following the boom in Scandinavian influence in home décor geometric design has risen to the top. Simplistic design with maximum impact means it can add a bold statement without being fussy.

An easy way to add geometric prints to a homewares collection is through tea towels, and aprons. Their large print surface is the perfect way to add bold style to a collection with minimum effort.

4. Slogans

Slogans are big at the moment, and you see them everywhere, inspiration quotes, typography or simply funny words, just go into your local shopping centre and you will notice them on water bottles, clothing, bags and more. It’s simple yet impactful, just one or two words and you can really get a message across. So why not embrace the trend and get something that motivates you or makes you giggle on a toiletry bag, it’s a great way to show off the fun side to your brand and add some personalisation to your collection.

5. Natural Materials

As people are becoming more and more conscious of their environmental impact, being more sustainable and honest about the materials being used has developed into its own style of fashion, using materials that are grown organically or made in a fair and sustainable supply chain We love this trend, it encapsulates everything we believe in.

Our Fairtrade & Organic range can help communicate your own ethical values to your customers and show off your business as sustainable and ethical.  Jute  offers a more rustic feel and is arguably one of the most sustainable materials  making it an ideal choice for this trend.
