Over the past few months there has been a lot of buzz around BIDBI. Exciting things have been happening regarding the growth and expansion of the company.
As industries are becoming more and more aware of their environmental impact and are waking up to the amount of waste we create, they are looking to source from more sustainable and ethical companies. This, in turn, has led to a demand in reusable items such as cotton bags. To keep up with this demand we have been working towards the expansion of our production capacity.
With the help of HSBC, we managed to gain the six-figure funding we needed to grow our production facilities. And thanks to HSBC we were able to buy a new industrial printing carousel and drying oven allowing us to scale up production to meet customer demand to offer sustainable alternatives to plastic bags.
This will help us increase turnover and allows us to continue job creation meaning we can keep growing our BIDBI family.

This all is part of HSBC UK’s £12billion lending fund to support UK SMEs. We are very grateful for HSBC’s support for BIDBI as a growing independent UK based company.
Further to our expansion of production machinery we have also been able to expand our premises. Thanks to help from Wake Smith Solicitors, BIDBI has been able to expand its premises by taking a lease on a new premise just up the road from our current facility on Rutland road.
This new 8000 sq. ft premise will be used as office space to house a growing operational team and for warehousing of stock. By moving a stone’s throw away we can keep our production local to Sheffield which is really important to us as a company as we are loyal to our roots.
