Willow Dean is a new small business that specialises in hand-poured soy wax candles as well as eco-friendly bags and gifts. The founder, Stephanie Haughton used the BIDBI design service to help build their branding and logo.

What did you use BIDBI’s design service for?
I used BIDBI’s design service to purchase the premium fairtrade & organic luxury shopper bag and their design service.
How did you come up with the concept?
When coming up with the concept for the design I gave Harry some of my ideas for how I would like it to look. I have had this image of what I was wanting for a while and Harry passed my information onto Jack and they were able to come up with just what I was wanting. I was really impressed with the design Jack came back with, it was just how I also imagined it, but somehow better.
Was this your first time working with designers, how do you rate the whole process?
This was my first time working with designers. The service I received was really impressive. I felt Harry had really listened to me and understood what I wanted and he passed this onto Jack. I found Harry to be really informative and he helped me with some of my decision makings and his response to emails was always very quick.
I was so impressed with the design logo Jack had done for me, we made a small change from the first design and the logo was just what I was wanting. Again Jack was responsive to the changes and I wasn't waiting long to see the designs. Really happy all around!
Why did you choose our design service instead of hiring an external party/freelancer?
I had been looking at a freelancer for my logo design but after coming across your website and talking to Harry I felt really comfortable with him and really liked the idea of having the design done at the same place for my bag order. I found it made the process much easier. Also after reading the reviews it filled me with confidence that the design service I would receive would be of a good standard.
Tell us a bit about your business.
I am starting out with a candle and gift business. The candles are made from soy wax and are individually hand-poured in Yorkshire. There are long-lasting candles with amazing scents to set the mood you require. I had been wanting to set up my company, Willow Dean, for a while and after attending a candle making workshop, I felt really inspired and decided to take a ‘leap of faith and set the business up. I am enjoying coming up with new ideas and using different scents, colours and shapes. I aim to create candles with scents to leave you feeling calm and relaxed in the comfort of your own home. Alongside the candles, I also make handmade gift cards and “inspirational quote” picture frames. I am looking to continue to develop my business which I have several ideas for which I am enjoying exploring at the moment.
Would you recommend the design service to others?
I would definitely recommend BIDBI to others as I can't fault the company as the process from start to finish has been excellent, thank you!
