  • What is your job role?

I work in the Finance department as a Management Accounts Assistant with a wide range of responsibilities. This role mainly consists of generating financial reports and analysing data for performance purposes as well as other duties such as bookkeeping, invoicing etc.

  • What does a normal workday look like for you?

I have a daily routine as I get into the office, I usually update data from the previous day onto reports as well keeping up to date with bookkeeping. I then respond to emails, queries as well as generic order processing and invoicing. I have a wide range of tasks to be doing so I always have something to keep myself busy and occupied.

  • What has been your highlight working for BIDBI?

I would say my highlight would be the people I work with as they are easy to talk to and welcoming. I enjoy the numerous events I have been able to attend and connecting with people.

  • What’s your favourite thing about working at BIDBI?

My favourite thing about working at BIDBI is that I am part of an interesting, growing project whilst having a positive impact on the environment. I have learnt so much about the world of business and the ethical side since I graduated university and it’s been exciting to partake in.

  • What’s your favourite BIDBI product?

Personally, I would recommend the Coloured Cotton Tote Bag as I like the variety of colours you can personalise the bag with. The material consists of high-quality cotton which allows for screen and digital printing. It is also lightweight yet has a capacity of 10 litres which makes it quite versatile to suit a range of needs.

  • What’s your favourite place in Sheffield?

My favourite place in Sheffield would be West Street as it is the place for socialising and night life which is what I most enjoy about Sheffield.

  • If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be?

New York, I have always wanted to visit America at some point as I feel life there is vibrant and there is so much to experience.

  • If you had a day off, what would you spend it doing?

It would depend how I’m feeling on the day, on some occasions I love to relax on my day in and binge some TV series or go out making plans.

  • What is your guilty pleasure?

Probably spending a lot of time watching conspiracy videos, they’re too intriguing not to watch.

  1. How do you make your own life more environmentally friendly? (i.e recycling, buying less plastic etc)

The main one is recycling, it has become much more of a habit. Another one would be trying to walk/public transport instead of driving short/unnecessary journeys to lower emissions as well as save money!
